    Payment:

I accept credit and debit cards, including HSA and FSA cards, as payment for services and I use Ivy Pay for payment processing. Ivy Pay is a HIPAA-compliant secure payment processing platform specifically designed for therapists. All payment is due at the time of service. You may receive a receipt for your payments upon request.

    Insurance Reimbursement:

I am not an in-network provider for any insurance company. Some insurance companies will reimburse you for costs related to attending psychotherapy. However, what you and I determine to be clinically relevant may or may not be deemed “medically necessary” and covered by insurance. If you would like to seek reimbursement with your insurance company I will provide you with a monthly statement (superbill) of fees paid and services provided.

    >> Please note that when you choose to allow your insurance company to contribute payment to your treatment you do allow them access to your clinical records. They will also require a mental health diagnosis. If you have questions or concerns about this, please speak with me before submitting any forms to your insurance company.

    Good Faith Estimate:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your therapy will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing before your medical service. You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
